The Church of St. Gabriel the Archangel, founded before 1497 and already mentioned in the registers of Benedictine Abbot Arsenius of Terracina, is a place of deep devotion that has withstood centuries of history. In 1919, during a diocesan reorganization, Bishop L. Lavitrano conferred the title of parish church, marking a new chapter in its spiritual journey. Between 1930 and 1960, the church underwent extensive restorations, both internal and external, to preserve its beauty and sacredness. Another significant restoration took place between 2002 and 2009, during which the interior was brought back to its former splendor, with decorations restored and the spaces revitalized.
The facade is elegant and classical, standing out among the surrounding buildings, while inside the church spread with a longitudinal plan, with a nave and a deep apse that welcomes the presbytery.
Next to the church, a chapel with frescoes, now used as a sacristy, enriches the area on the right side of the apse. It stands as a testament to the ongoing pursuit of beauty and spirituality that has guided every restoration and intervention. This place of prayer has, over the centuries, continued to preserve the faith and memories of generations.
