The Convent of Santa Maria degli Angeli, founded between 1569 and 1575, was established with the funding of the University and is composed of a cloister and a courtyard. In 1582, a library was added, and in 1594, a new access road to the convent was built.
The refectory has a rectangular plan with a vaulted ceiling and frescoes depicting monks in adoration of the Virgin and the meeting between St. Philip Neri and St. Felice. The furnishings include seven tables and benches, and the University contributed to the construction of a staircase in 1582.
