The excursion allows you to experience the great beauty of the Lattari Mountains and enjoy a breathtaking view.
The route is part of the Alta Via dei Monti Lattari, starting from Cava de' Tirreni and ending at Punta Campanella/Termini. The first section, which culminates at the summit of Monte Cerreto, begins in Corpo di Cava, passing through the Vallone Bonea and the Sanctuary of Maria Santissima Avvocata (873 m). From here, continue towards the Monti del Demanio, passing through locations such as the Foce di Tramonti and the South Peak of Monte Finestra (1,145 m), up to the North Summit (1,138 m). The path then leads to the Chiunzi Pass, home to the ancient Tower, before reaching the Tuoro di Stellante and culminating in the challenging climb to the summit of Monte Cerreto (1,316 m).
This path is recommended for those who already have experience and a minimum of physical preparation.
