The path crosses the slopes of the Monti Lattari, passing through chestnut forests and typical Mediterranean maquis plants. The route alternates between stretches of uphill climb and terraces, offering spectacular views over Cava de' Tirreni, Salerno, and the Amalfi Coast. While the journey can be challenging, with some steep sections, the path is well-marked. Along the way, you'll encounter ruins and historical remnants of medieval fortifications. Once you reach Monte Castello, the view from the top is breathtaking, extending all the way to the sea and the Amalfi Coast.
